New Fresh Face at Freshair Salon!

Lindsay Capps

The team of stylists at Freshair Salon would like to introduce you to our newest edition Lindsay Capps!

Lindsay is returning to the hair design community after taking a leave to be a stay-at-home mom.  She and her husband Jason have 3 beautiful children, Jackson, Zoe Grace, and Sophie Anne.

It was in Nashville, TN that Lindsay began her hair styling career.  After completing Cosmetology School, she worked at Bishops Salon in Bellevue, an Award Winning Salon that serviced many County Music artists.  After relocating to Northwest Arkansas to be close to her family, Lindsay was a stylist at James Clarke Studio. After the birth of her 2nd child, she decided to remain at home and do freelance hair and makeup styling.

During her time away from the Salon, Lindsay has continued her art of styling doing makeup and hair for commercial shots for WalMart and Sam's.

During her free time Lindsay enjoys biking, being a mom and wife, shopping, and preparing great meals for family and friends.  Lindsay and her husband are dedicated CrossFit 540 athletes.  They attend Cross Church in Pinnacle Hills where they are actively involved in choir, small groups, and CrossKids.

We are looking for a new stylist!

We will have a full-time booth available for rent starting November 1, 2011.  We are looking for a fun, trendy, energetic stylist that gets along well with others.  Our group is a low drama, close knit family that would love to add another great stylist to our team.  Resumes will be accepted and we will be interviewing for the opening starting as soon as possible.  We prefer someone with an established clientele and experience but all may apply! 
Let us tell you about us for a moment.  We are an upscale, booth rent salon in Fayetteville, Arkansas that was established in 2003.  We provide many great perks for our renters including extensive back bar options, commission on hair product sales and boutique sales, top seller incentives, enormous cabinets at stations for stylists belongings, a personal cabinet in the break room, European shampoo bowls, hair vacuum's to sweep hair to, spacious stations, hair steamers, heat lamps and dryers for processing, flat screen t.v's, full audio throughout salon, security system and camera system, 2 break rooms, unlimited parking, phones at each station, phone system with individual extension numbers and personal voicemail that is also sent to your email or phone, call forwarding, computer system for scheduling and text and email reminders for clients, Facebook page for advertising and appointment scheduling/requests, great central location close to U of A and the by-pass, an average of 40 new walk-ins/call-ins a month and much, much more!  We are always participating in continuing education as well as learning from each other.  We believe in our team and constantly help each other with our vision to succeed.  We just recently expanded adding 6 booths to our salon.  We are now a 14 station salon with over 2600 square feet.  We offer everything that is hair plus extensions, smoothing treatment systems, eyelash extensions and waxing.

Paul Mitchell, The School

Kara is a locally grown Fayetteville girl.  She went to Fayetteville High School and then decided to go to College at Oklahoma State University where she majored in Graphic Design.  But, Kara has always had a passion for hair.  So she decided to spread her wings even further and move away and go to Cosmetology School at Paul Mitchell, The School in Colorado Springs, CO.  While in school, Kara attended Paul Mitchell advanced color, cutting and updo classes in Las Vegas, NV.  She loves to do sassy, creative cuts and has a funky flair when it comes to color.   She also specializes in updo's and has recently been trained in bikini waxing. (Ouch!)  She is now our in-house waxing specialist!  Kara is certified in the Keratin Complex treatment and the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing Treatment and has taken the AlfaParf Evolution Color Class.

 On a personal level, Kara enjoys shopping, cooking, watching movies with friends, socializing, doing anything crafty, reading and, if you don't already know from the pictures on her station, she loves to spend time with her dog.  She says her hobbies are comparable to an 84 year old woman!  (Did we tell you she has a great sense of humor too?)  Kara is also involved with her church.  She attends Grace Church where she helps lead a girls Bible study.  What can we say!  She's just an all-around great girl and a very talented stylist!
